AALL’s KnowItAALL email newsletter for AALL members provides an interesting mix of news articles. They are sourced from a wide variety of blogs and publications that deal with various aspects of legal information and innovations.  Individuals and institutions can subscribe.

The AALL eLearning platform provides users with one-stop access to past, current, and future education opportunities.  Browse the eLearning platform by type of content or by AALL’s Body of Knowledge domains. You can also use the keyword search to look for specific content.  Your personal dashboard is where you may access all programs/webinars/coffee chats for which you registered.  Users can also access AALL’s first self-paced course, “Introduction to Law Library Budgets” 

The American Association of Law Libraries bimonthly member magazine, AALL Spectrum, furthers professional development and education within the legal information industry. You don’t even have to be a member of AALL to access it. Each issue’s featured content explores an area within the legal information field. Examples include diversity, inclusion & recruitment, education, innovation, leadership & career development, and technology.

Don’t forget Law Library Journal. The PDF edition includes individual PDF files for each article within an issue. The Law Library Journal (LLJ) is the official peer-reviewed journal of the American Association of Law Libraries. It includes scholarly articles on law, legal materials, and librarianship.   

LexisNexis® InfoPro Weekly Update is a weekly email newsletter. It provides Lexis Product and Practice Area Updates, Research Tips and Guides, and links to upcoming Trainings and Webinars.  The LexisNexis® InfoPro website also has a quarterly Librarian webinar series.  Their Fall 2021 series of webinars covers a variety of topics hosted by the LexisNexis Librarian Knowledge & Research Consulting team.  

Subscribing to blogs or setting up news alerts on topics of interest is a great way to be in the know about law librarianship and related fields in law. Three Geeks and a Blog, Dewey B Strategic, RIPS Law Librarian Blog, and beSpacific are a few good ones to check out.  Depending on your location, there are several membership law libraries that have a blog, such as Jenkins Law Library blog and the New York Law Institute blog.
